So what’s up with this?

Unemployment and job-hunting are at all time highs, and yet, an easily accessible solution to make money working online at home, seems…well…like an idea that most people can’t quite get their minds around. Or, it has simply never even come up for consideration. Hmmm. Go figure.

So…is it a good idea or not, to make money using the Internet at home? Absolutely! (IMHO)

But is it for everyone?

No. But neither is landscaping, dog walking, or running a daycare center. There is NO single home business income opportunity that is one-size fits all.

Be that as it may, more and more people are turning to the Internet and marketing to solve the problem of how to earn or make a living online–from home or anywhere–these days. What they are discovering is a whole new way of life that meshes nicely with other trends like living “greener” lives, spending more time with family, and even home-schooling. Most home-based Internet entrepreneurs simply call it Freedom!

A whole world of Internet income opportunity has opened up in the last few years. Even though more people than ever make use of the Internet in their personal lives, and are connected online at home, only a few have caught on to the tremendous income generating potential that is making many of those who lead the way quite…er…wealthy.

This is both surprising, and not surprising, in light of the fact that so many people are actually spending more time at home (out of work, forced into early retirement, or “stay-cationing”). Their computers–ka-ching!–are just inches away, even while they fret about money, debt, and lost savings. And still, the light bulb hasn’t turned on.

But in all fairness, this is just the pace at which new ideas (such as how people think about making a living, where you ‘go to work’, skills needed, and so forth) take hold. Far more slowly than the speed of opportunity.

Human adjustment to change is just plain slo-o-o-w. It actually takes generations, not weeks or months, for people to think and act in new ways–without feeling “odd” or “different” than everyone else. Most people just sort of like sameness…blending in…going with the crowd. (zzzzzzz….)

That partly explains why we (humans) get so stressed in the midst of things–like technology, the overflow of information, and gadgets–that change so dang quickly all around us. We really can’t keep up. We like all the “stuff” on one hand, and it makes us crazy (if we let it) on the other.

And it also helps to explain why an idea to make money using the Internet is still not clicking with most of the population. Not yet, that is.

I believe it is just a matter of time–as with all other big social trends. What it means for some people now, however, is that there is a never-to-be-repeated window of opportunity–right now–to get Internet marketing education, learn everything possible about it from those early entrepreneurs who paved the way, and get positioned as the experts and leaders that others will turn to as the tide changes and everyone else starts to catch on.

Now that sounds like a solution to me.
